Saturday, April 11 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster, following the Field Directorate Special Session, the BCLA hotsted a Town Hall to share the proposed new bylaws for the Association. The updated bylaws were intended to bring the organization into compliance with the BC Societies Act, align with leading sport governance practices, and modernize BCLA’s governance structure.
The Board believes it is important that members have the opportunity to review the changes and provide feedback. The Town Hall included a presentation of the proposed bylaws, a question-and-answer period, and information on how members can submit concerns or suggestions following the event.
