Field Form 100s are due Oct 1st for Youth (Boys and Girls Field) and Men's Field and May 1st for Senior Women's Field

 

Youth / Men's Field

 

 

Women's Field / Senior Women's

 

  • Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be held to the same standard at ALL levels.

  • NCCP E-learning Module of Making Headway must be completed by all coaches

  • NCCP E-learning Module of Making Ethical Decisions highly recommended for ALL coaches; to become certified – must be completed

  • All FIRST year coaches may be in training for Community Development,

  • All U15 and above coaches must achieve their Competition Introduction training in their second year of coaching.

     

  • At Competition Introduction the requirements are: (as of 2023)


    “In-Training” (attended clinic)


    “Trained” (clinic + completion of Making Headway AND completion of MED)


    “Certified” (all of above PLUS In Person Evaluation and Portfolio*)
    *as found in the current Evaluation package


    Rationale: portfolio of evidence & evaluation will provide growth plan for coaches


    NOTE: no “grandfathering” of this, if completed before 2023 – have until September 30 2024 to submit workbook; after this time, will need to begin Comp Intro process again

    • A first year coach may be 'In-Training'
    • A second year coach may be 'Trained'
    • A third year coach must be 'Certified' (if required in the chart above)

 

Trainer Certification

 

Trainers must be certified a minimum of first responders (firefighter, ambulance, armed forces personnel, medical professional, etc.) or have an approved and valid trainer's certificate suitable registered on the Form 100B.  Trainer certification, including a person trained as a first-responder must be noted on all applicable game sheets unless a trainer is provided for an entire event by the BCLA (i.e. Field Provincial Championships).
