• What do we need to host a clinic?

• Log on to the On-Line Coach Certification Pre-Course Modules

Coaches can start taking NCCP courses at the age of 14 years.  14 and 15 years old coaches will be designated as “Under 16” on their ‘Official Transcripts’ located on the Coaches of Canada site.   Anyone under the age of 13 can attend a course, but they will not be given credit or an NCCP number.

• IT IS IMPORTANT THAT COACHES REGISTERING FOR A CLINIC MUST LOG-IN TO THE ONLINE SITE, COMPLETE THE PRE-COURSE MATERIAL AND REGISTER THEMSELVES INTO THE CORRECT CLINIC (WITH THE ACCESS CODE GIVEN TO THEM). THIS WILL GIVE THE REGISTRANTS ACCESS TO THE WORKBOOK, ONCE THE CLINIC IS COMPLETE. THE WORKBOOK GIVES THE COACH A 'TRAINED' STATUS. IF THE BOOK ISN'T COMPLETED, THEN THE COACH WILL NOT HAVE THE RIGHT CERTIFICATION TO BE ABLE TO COACH IN THE PROVINCIAL GAMES.

Level 1 - Community Development Trained

What Teams Can Be Coached:

•  U7 (5-6 years)
•  U9 (7-8 years)
•  Rec/House League
•  U11 (9-10 years)
•  U13 (11-12 years)

What is Needed to Be Trained/Certified:

• Register Online (with Access Code)
• Complete the Online Pre-Course Training
• Attend Clinic

• Competitive Introduction & Workbook
• Making Headway in Sport (Free)
• Online Ethics Training
• In-Person Evaluation

Level 2 - Competitive Introduction Trained

What Teams Can Be Coached:

• U15 (13-14 years)
• U17 (15-16 years)
• Junior (18-21 years)
• Senior (21 & over)

What is Needed to Be Trained/Certified:

• Prerequisite CMD LEVEL 1
• Register Online (with Access Code)
• Complete the Online Pre-Course Training
• Attend Clinic
• Making Headway in Sport (Free)
• Online Ethics Training (The Locker - $85)
